ecoGeeks Oxy-Septic Drain Field Restorer Instructions
This overflowing septic tank was fixed by a treatment of ecoGeeks Oxy-Septic Drain Field Restorer
1. Prior to using OXY-Septic: Remove standing water from the drain field if possible. You can do this by having the septic tank pumped and allowing the drain-field to drain for a day or two.
2. Locate your distribution box.
-The professional who pumps your tank should be able to help with this. If you cannot access your distribution box, or if your septic system contains drywells and cesspools, see below. If the box is buried deeply, consider installing a riser on it to gain access. Also see our alternative method below if you are unable to find your distribution box.
NOTE: ecoGeeks OXY-Septic will only work when added between the septic tank and the drain field. If OXY-Septic is introduced before the tank, it will react with the waste in the tank and have no effect on the drain field.
The Distribution box will be located between the septic tank and your drain field
3. Day 1: Add one of the eight pound units of ecoGeeks OXY-Septic to the distribution box. Add between 30 and 50 gallons of (hot, if available) water into distribution box to distribute OXY-Septic throughout lateral pipes.
4. Repeat Step #3, three more times on days 3, 5 and 7.

Dry Well or Seepage Pit Instructions:
1. Add two bags (approximately 16 pounds) of ecoGeeks oxy-septic Drain Field Restorer directly to the Dry Well / Seepage Pit and add 30 – 50 gallons of water, (or until there is standing water in the bottom of the pit)
2. Allow product to work overnight. Repeat treatment after 24 – 48 hours.
If your Dry Well / Seepage Pit has failed, have the pit AND your septic tank pumped out before attempting to restore flow with ecoGeeks Oxy-Septic Drain Field Restorer.
CESSPOOL Instructions:
1. Have septic tank and cesspool professionally pumped out.
2. Add two bags (approximately 16 pounds) of ecoGeeks oxy-septic Drain Field Restorer directly to the Cesspool and add 30 – 50 gallons of water, (or until there is standing water in the bottom of the pit)
3. Allow product to work overnight. Repeat treatment after 24 – 48 hours.
CAUTION: Harmful if swallowed. This product is a severe eye irritant. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. AS WITH ALL CLEANING PRODUCTS, KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS. If swallowed, drink large amounts of water to dilute and seek medical attention.
