ecoGeeks OXY-Septic Saves 30 yo Leaching Pit

Journal of results of trying Oxy-Septic on a leaching pit that is over 30 years old:
Day 1. April 20th, 2019. There is 41 ½ inches of standing water in our leaching pit and we added the 1st 8lb bag of Oxy-Septic directly into pit. The water in the pit began to roil immediately, almost as if 2 gigantic alka seltzers had been added to a dark glass of water. Bubbles gathered at the top of the tank and the level seemed to rise although it was probably only the action of the bubbles.
Day 2. April 21st, twenty four hours later. The leaching pit has stopped roiling and there is a foam head on the water. Before adding Oxy-Septic the water was dark and there was no debris, now there’s a head on it about 1 ½ inches thick that resembles the head on a root beer float. The level of the water is down 2 inches, but yesterday I did a load of laundry.
Day 3. April 22nd, The leaching pit is 1 inch lower and the head on the root beer float is has broken up into large islands. When measuring the depth of the tank debris clings to the stick, normally there would be just water.
Day 4. April 23rd, It’s been three days since introducing the first bag to the leaching pit, so I added the second bag as stated in the directions. The water level was down another ½ inch and there was an open circle of water free of foam on the top of the tanks, but still quite a bit of foam remains. The water smells stronger than it did before adding the first bag and I’m wondering if disturbing the bio-mat has released trapped bacteria.
Day 5. April 24th, The first bag only produced about 3&1/2 inches of free space in the leaching pit, but it must have loosened up the bio-mat because 24 hrs after adding the second bag it’s down another 5 inches which is impressive.
Day 6. April 25th, After seeing the results that the 2nd bag produced in 24 hrs I couldn’t wait to see what another 24 hrs would do. Sure enough it was down another 5 inches which makes a grand total of 13 ½ inches since I started this process. Tomorrow I add the third bag – this product works!
Day 7. April 26th, The leaching pit was down another 2 inches today. I added the third bag and once again the water roiled and fizzed with a thick head of small brown bubbles rising to the surface.
Day 8. April 27th, Today we did laundry and there was no discernible change in the depth of water in the leaching pit, hopefully tomorrow will be different.
Day 9. April 28th, The leaching pit water level was down another 3 inches today and the top is covered by a layer of foam.
Day 10. April 29th, The water level is down another 3 inches and I added the 4th and last bag of the treatment.
Day 11. April 30th, The water level is down another 3 1/2 inches and tomorrow is the last day of the cycle although I’ll be checking to see what happens in the aftermath.
Day 12. May 1st, The water level was down 2 more inches.

We started with a water level of 41 ½ inches in the pit and after the 12 day cycle only 14 ½ inches remain – the water level has dropped an astounding 27 inches in less than two weeks. Oxy-Septic has done wonders for my system.
